Op Limit

Op Limit is a national campaign to reduce the number of drink and drug drivers on our roads. 

Tonight, Neighbourhood Officers conducted  spot checks on Lingard Lane, Brinnington. 

 18 vehicle stops were made.

   All drivers blew under.  The  highest reading  was 28, obviously very close to the limit of 35.

  2  vehicles were seized and drivers prosecuted for driving with no license. 

  2  traffic offence reports were handed to drivers for vehicle defects

If you know someone is over the limit and is about to drive, call 999 immediately.

Reporting someone isn’t being a ‘grass’, it’s protecting them and other road users from getting seriously hurt or even killed.

Everyone has a responsibility to stop drink/drug driving.
